Setup PayPal Standard Payment on eCommerce Website
PayPal is one of the most popular payment processing company that offers fast and secure ecommerce payment solutions. By integrating PayPal with your ecommerce store, you can receive payments globally using both PayPal account or credit cards. In short, it is an all-in-one solution that benefits both you and the online shoppers.
Step 1 − Login to your Magento Admin Panel.
Step 2 − Go to System menu and click on the Configuration option.
Step 3 − On the left side of the navigation bar, click on the Payment Methods under Sales section.
Step 4 − Next, under Merchant Location panel, set the merchant country from the dropdown menu.
Step 5 − It provides the following types of payment methods which adds PayPal as an additional payment method.
Step 6 − You can click on the Configure button to make PayPal settings. Fill the e-mail field with an e-mail address which is associated with PayPal merchant account for accepting the payments, along with all other required fields.
Now, enter the Email Address in the first field that is associated with your PayPal merchant account. Second, add all the other required fields such as selecting API Authentication Method, API Username, Password, and Signature.
Then login PayPal is required to retrieve the following information from PayPal:
API Username
Password
Signature
After entering all the necessary information, change Enable this Solution to Yes and hit Save Config button.
Step 7 − Under Basic Settings
Tap the Configure button again and expand the Basic Settings of the Magento PayPal integration module. Under this configuration:
Step 8 − After done with the settings, click on the Save Config button on the top right corner to save your payment methods. Now you are ready to accept payments through your shopping cart.
